Causes of Low Libido in Women

Sexual desire is a natural phenomenon of all the living beings. It is directly related to our health condition. When we get older or when something goes wrong in our body, or mind, we seem to lose the desire. Low libido in men or women has some factors in common. Low libido in women is more common than men.

Like men, women also experience low libido mostly due to physical or psychological reasons. Iron deficiency causes anemia which leads to low libido. Women lose blood during their monthly periods or malnutrition, which may case hormonal imbalance. This disorder causes diminished desire. Some healthy women also seem to lose sex drive mainly due to financial or family problems. Such matters lead to stress, anxiety and constant worries.

Temporary loss of libido is not a problem as almost every individual has to face it and we accept it as part of our life. But when the symptoms stay for longer period, we have to seek competent advice.
